Lenny’s Sessions for Primary and Secondary Students

Lenny draws material from contemporary and traditional sources. Folk tale, legend, fairytale, myth, urban myth, fable, nursery tale, joke, anecdote, rhyme, riddle …… from many lands are presented in an interactive style, occasionally accompanied by a bowed psaltery or other instrument. Lenny has the ability to create a genuine rapport, encouraging the audience to participate. He moves the performance along with an understanding of the musical rhythm at the heart of all speech and language, and successfully transmits this awareness to students.
